I don’t really get hangovers that often, but when I do get them, I find the best thing for me to do is not to sleep in all day and drink water. Sleep and rest is always good for you, but it’s very gradual, and it’s a waste of a day. Just last Sunday I had a hangover, and to be honest, I would have probably stayed in bed had it not been for the fact that I had to get to work by 11am. Getting up in the morning, however, is probably the best thing to do for a hangover. Why? Because of the Sausage and Egg McMuffin at McDonalds. It does wonders for my hangover, and has become so reliable, that I’ve incorporated it into my little hangover routine:
1) Drink a glass or two of water when you wake up.
2) Sausage and Egg McMuffin meal (get it with juice).
3) Gatorade.
4) Chicken nuggets for lunch.
Done and done! I was feeling much better by lunch time and I didn’t have to stay in bed all day either. Win, win!

I’m deleting some old posts that I don’t like, and I’m also updating some things on my blog. I liked the “Open Air” template that I was using for a couple of days, but it didn’t suit me or the feel for this blog. As much as I’d like to keep all the posts I’ve made (good and bad), I should make more of an effort to cover myself in the event that something gets uncovered that people don’t like.
Yeah, I know, it’s sad that you can never be too careful about these things. I’ve read some really old blog posts of mine from back in high school and I could never see myself justifying anything I’ve said or be able to explain myself, yet, if that ever got dug up that’s what I’d be asked to do. It’s ludicrous how it works and I feel sorry for those in the entertainment industry who have to do stuff like this on a regular basis.

Having just run through Maxim’s Hot 100, I have to say I’m quite disappointed. The tagline for it is “The definitive list of the world’s most beautiful women” but how can that be when Kate Beckinsale and Christina Hendricks didn’t even make it to the top 100? You might be wondering “wow, this must have been one competitive top 100 to exclude those 3 babes”, but I’m sure I can find room to fit some these ladies in:
At #79 we have Rebecca Mader. Some of my readers will recognize her as Charlotte from LOST:

Making a fine case for why LOST shouldn't be in HD
She has also been on other shows:

Here she is as Kip Drordy
She placed higher than Keeley Hazell:

Someone chose Charlotte over her...
and Stacey Keibler:

Hotter than her? Really?
She’s not top 100. She’s not even the hottest member of LOST, which is unfortunate, because she seems to be the sole representative for that show on this list (whereas all the girls from The Hills made it on).
Then there’s Lily Allen coming in at 75. Maybe Maxim is taking into account the person’s talent and personality as well? Lily Allen isn’t better looking than some of the people above her, but I’ll give her points for her sauciness. That and she called Bob Geldof a cunt (true). I’m not sure what Maxim’s methodology for this list is because it appears that they are not basing their decisions solely on looks. Are they using the “mute” factor? That is, if a person is so unbearable to watch on television with the sound on, can their qualities be redeemed if you just muted the television? You get more points if I can listen to you with the sound on, but you do not get penalized too heavily if you need to get muted.
Coming in at 56 is a true hog in Ke$ha. This was a pretty bad photo of her, so I googled some others to make sure that I wasn’t a fluke:

Yeah if I woke up in the morning with her, I'd reach for a bottle of Jack too.

Doesn't do it for me.
She needs to be muted. And I can’t stand watching her with the television muted either. How did she trickle in at 56?
I was going to say something about Rihanna being at #6, but, she’s pretty hot when she has bangs. When she doesn’t? Hmmmm, not so much.
The rest of the list just has to do with the order being all messed up. Some say that Zooey Deschanel being in the 70s and Katy Perry being #1 is a bit odd considering how they look very similar to one another:

#73

#1
They’re both sexy, but, Katy Perry seems to be bursting through the seams with sexy.
I also gotta ask, where’s Beyoncé in all this? I mean if Britney Spears can make the list, then surely there should be room for an artist that is not only more talented, but saner as well, someone like Beyoncé.
I think their goal wasn’t to make a definitive list, but to make one that people will talk about, and their glaring omissions and bizarre inclusions will definitely do that. It’s just stirring the pot for the sake of it. Maybe they put some names into a hat and drew the first 100?

I called my friend at work for a shift change. I haven’t talked to her in months, and this is the conversation that we had:
Redford: “Hey, what up? How’s it going?”
Kirstyn: ”Not bad, boring here.”
R: “Really? I thought this lot’s busy.”
K: “Surprisingly, not today.”
R: “Say…would you be interested in switching shifts on May 18th? I’m working the day shift and you’re working the night shift.”
K: “But it says here that you’re working Area 11.”
R: “What? On mine it says Area 29 day, did the schedule change?”
K: “I don’t know, but, Redford’s working Area 29, and you’re working 11.”
R: “What? I’m Redford.”
K: “Oh…..OH! OH MY GOD! REDFORDDDDD!!!!”
R: “You didn’t know it was me?”
K: “Nooooooo…I thought you were Melky.”
Yes, I’m back at the parking lot. Yes, I’m also going back to school tomorrow too. I believe the best way to sum up how I’m feeling right now is with this:

"We have to go back to The Island, Kate!"
I guess you can say that The Island isn’t done with me yet…

I’ve been told I get a little heated when I drive. I curse a lot, sometimes I slam my hand on the steering wheel, and other times I’ll just retaliate with my driving (if they tailgate me I slow down immediately, and speed up only to prevent them from getting overtaking me). What I rarely do though is honk.
It’s not something I’m used to. I’ve honked a woman once and that was because she made a right turn as I was midway through the intersection. Caused me to slam on my brakes and so I honked her.
Today, was my second honk ever. Same scenario too! Go figure. I just picked up Courey and was crossing Finch on Sandhurst when a driver made a right as I was midway through the intersection. It was raining too so I had to slow the fuck down quickly and so I let out a honk. A long honk. I must have pressed that thing down for a good 5 seconds. The first 3 was just pure animosity, but the next two seconds we started laughing pretty hard. It felt damn good.
Seriously, try it sometime. I should honk more often.
